Grid Based Pathfinding
A downloadable game for Windows
In this project, I developed a grid-based movement system, using GML, the scripting language for Gamemaker Studio 2. This program uses a grid system and a pathing script to allow the user to click a location they wish to move the player character to. The player character will then find the fastest possible path to the target, whilst avoiding obstacles, before drawing that path and following it.
This is only a test of a movement system. No art assets have been used.
